Port Alfred
High School
About our Foundation Phase
Port Alfred School Foundation Phase teachers have the exciting and rewarding task of teaching children the “fun”-damentals of reading, writing and
numeracy as well as guiding young minds in learning key life skills and developing their thinking skills. They teach from Nursery and Grade R
through to Grade 3. This critical phase is where the building blocks
children will use throughout their lives are laid and where
their love for learning and growing is established.

Every staff member in the Port Alfred School Foundation phase is experienced, dedicated and passionate about education. Most importantly, they love what they do!
